Pár hete rám mosolygott a szerencse és a Mexx legújabb parfümjének bemutató rendezvényén színtanácsadást nyertem, amit azóta is izgatottan vártam. Mivel londoni utazás és egyéb elfoglaltságok jöttek közbe, így mostanra tudtam csak időpontot egyeztetni Molnár Timivel, aki stílus- ésszíntanácsadó. Nagy meglepetések és tanulságok – pár órába és jó pár színkendőbe zárva!

 

Couple of weeks ago at the new parfume launch of Mexx I won a colour coach session which I was really waiting for to happen. Due to my recent travels and other duties we postponed but last week finally I met Tímea Molnár who is a stylist/colour coach. Big surprises and new lessons – wrapped up in a couple of hours talk and in some colour scarves.

Többször kaptam már levelet illetve kommentet tőletek a fényképeken való pózolással kapcsolatban így elérkezettnek láttam, hogy megmutassam, én mit tanultam meg saját tapasztalataimon keresztül, hiszen 1 éve már rendszeresen készülnek rólam fotók.

Loving Your Curves, Day 2

This Sunday morning was not like the others as the second day of Loving Your Curves event was particular among all plus size events: everything revolved around newly-weds-to-be. Honestly, it was hard for me to say objective as I got engaged in August so I was waiting for this day so much. Finding the right casual dress can be challanging for plus size but when it comes to the right wedding dress, it is really demanding. And all girls deserve to be and look special on the Big day – regardless of their weights!

Loving Your Curves, Day 1

Regardless of my tired travel body, on Saturday morning I jumped out of the comfortable (and huge!)  hotel bed like a child on Christmas morning. I was full of excitment and could not wait to meet the participants of the event as I was sure it will be a supportive and positive community waiting for me. And I was so right!

Noha még éreztem az előző napi fáradtságot, szombat reggel izgatottan pattantam ki hotelszobám roppant kényelmes (és óriási!) ágyából, akárcsak egy kisgyerek karácsony reggelén. Izgatottan vártam a találkozást az esemény résztvevőivel, hiszen úgy sejtettem, ismét egy összetartó és pozitív közösségbe csöppenek majd. Nem tévedtem!

 

Loving Your Curves, London, Day 0

A pénteki napom meglehetősen korán indult, hiszen hajnali 3-kor már az ébresztő könyörtelen hangjára ébredtem (hiába, Lana del Rey GreatGatsby betétdala az egyik kedvencem, de hajnal 3-kor nem hangzik túl kellemesen) s egy gyors kávé után már a reptéren voltam.

 

My day started pretty early on Friday as lets be honest, even Lana del Rey can't be gentle as an alarm at 3 am. After a quick kickoff Italian espresso I was already at the airport.

 

 

Magyar plus size modell a New York-i divathéten!! // Hungarian plus size model at the New York Fashion Week!!

Pár napja szenzációs hírről számoltam be a blog Facebook oldalán (ITT) hiszen erre nem volt példa az elmúlt évek során: az éppen zajló New York-i divathéten plus size divattervező ruháit is láthatjuk a kifutón. És ezt még lehet ám fokozni! A modellek között egy magyar lány is szerepel a pár óra múlva kezdődő bemutatón!

 

Couple of days ago I shared a groundbreaking news on the blog's Facebook page (HERE) as it will be the first time that a plus size designer will participate at New York Fashion Week. And that is not all! One of the models at the show is a Hungarian plus size model!

Maxi skirt - maxi love

Idén nyáron ismét hódítottak kedvenceim, a maxi ruhák és szoknyák, amiket nagyon szeretek annak ellenére, hogy sosem takargattam a lábaimat, mégis olykor jóleső érzés egy földet seprő szoknyába bújni. Igenám, már ha talál egy 176 cm magas lány (nem beszélve a nálam magasabbakról) megfelelő hosszúságút. Nekem sikerült - a kulcsszó: H&M!

My all time favourites, the maxi skirt and dresses were popular this summer, too and even if I never hide my legs, sometimes it feels so comfy to put on a long skirt which touches the ground. If I find the right length - as being 176cm (5'9) sometimes it is a challenge to find a skirt which is long enough. The magic word for me this summer was H&M!

Loving Your Curves - interviews&video from the casting!

As the first day of autumn arrived it means we have to wait only a few weeks till the upcoming plus size event, Loving Your Curves taking place in London on 21-22 September. As an official European blogger I keep a close eye on the event and despite the distance, with some help I could make some mini interviews with participants at the model casting.

Megérkezett az ősz első napja ám ez azt jelenti, már csak pár hetet kell várni a Londonban megrendezésre kerülő Loving Your Curves plus size rendezvényre. Mint európai hivatalos blogger, érdeklődve figyelem az esemény küörüli előkészületeket s noha személyesen nem vettem részt a modell válogatáson, mégis sikerült némi segítséggel mini interjúkat készíteni a résztvevőkkel.

Converse love in Patent Design

A Patent Design egy relatív új magyar márka, ami a telt nőket hivatott kiszolgálni. A tervező Vajda Judittal készített interjúmat hamarosan olvashatjátok, addig is egy újabb darabot mutatok meg a kollekciójából.

Patent Design is a new Hungarian brand to serve curvy ladies. My interview with the designer, Judith Vajda will be soon released and until then I show you another piece of her collection.

Az a bizonyos kis fekete ruha szinte kötelező darabja minden nő ruhatárának - elegáns, letisztult és igazán jól tud jönni a "mit vegyek fel" kapkodás közben. Pár hete Farkas Évi barátnőmmel fotóztunk kicsit, hiszen a plus size modellkedés mellett Évi tehetséges fotós is! 

That little black dress is a must have in every women's wardrobe - elegant, sophisticated and comes handy in those situations when you really do not know what to put on quickly. Couple of weeks ago with Éva Farkas we took some pictures - as beside being a plus size model, she is a talented photographer, too!

DIY jeans short

Mivel a Facebook oldalamra feltöltött képek nagy sikert arattak, gondoltam megosztom az új farmersortom történetét.
Sokszor elképzelek vagy kis méretben meglátok egy ruhadarabot, és keserves kutatások árán sem találok a méretemben. Ilyenkor persze dühönghetnék és morgolódhatnék, de at mit sem segít. Ehelyett van, hogy egy kis kreativitás csodákra képes - így lett a régi farmernadrágból egy csipkés-virágos új sort.

Since you really liked the pictures I uploaded on my Facebook page - I decided to share the story of this new pair of jeans short.
Many times I imagine a design or I see a pieces of clothes in smaller size and simply can not find it in my size. I could make the drama at such occasions - but that wouldn't help, right? Instead, I use some creativity - like lately when an old pair of jeans got new life in the form of shorts with lace and floral print.

Far away from the city

Ez az outfit bejegyzés nem csupán a helyszín miatt különleges, hanem a "vendégszereplő" kishölgyhöz is szoros szálak fűznek - ő Liza, az én drága Anna barátnőm "kislánya", velük töltöttük a hétvégét és ha már ilyen távol (s mégis közel, hiszen mindössze 20 km-re Budapesttől) voltunk a várostól, kihasználtuk az erdei utat.

This outfit post is particular - and not only due to the environment but due to my "guest" on the pictures. She is Liza, the daughter of my dearest friend, Anna with whom I could spend a beautiful weekend so far (however only 20km away from Budapest) from the city.

Őszintén szólva szerintem a lányok 90% egy bizonyos ponton az életében ábrándozott arról, hogy címlapra kerüljön. Aztán sokan ezt a gondolatot elhesegették - sokan pedig azon dolgoznak keményen, hogy ez sikerüljön. Azonban most bárkiből lehet címlaplány - hála kedvenc plus size magazinomnak, az Evolve-nak...

Honestly, 90% of the girls at some point in their lives dreamed about getting on the cover of a magazine. Then many of us gave up on this - but many work hard still to make this dream come true. But now, any of you could get on the cover of my favourite plus size magazine, the Evolve..

Az elmúlt hetekben a new yorki plus size divathét közeledtével (ami ezen a héten zajlik, Full Figured Fashion Week névvel) minden közösségi csatornám tele volt a bemutatóra lázasan készülődő modellek, bloggerek és divattervezők képeivel, híreivel. Érthető az izgatottság, hisz az év legnagyobb, telt nőknek szóló eseménye ez - remélem jövőre már én is ott leszek.



My social media channels were full with news and posts about the upcoming New York event, Full Figured Fashion Week (happening actually this week) as models, bloggers and designers were waiting for these days with so much enthusiasm. No surprise as this is the biggest plus size event in the year - hopefully next year I'll be there, too.

"A" ruha! // "The" dress!

Pár hete beleszerettem egy ruhába - bohókás, színes, előnyös szabású, szóval amolyan "Zsuzskás". A ruhát a Csini Divat oldalán láttam meg és szó szerint szerelem volt első látásra s ennek virtuális hangot is adtam. Az én drága Ágicám pedig a minap meglepetés csomagot küldött nekem - és kitalálhatjátok, "a" ruha volt benne.

Couple of weeks ago I feel in love with a dress - funny, colourful, flattering so very "me". I spotted the dress on the webpage of Csini Divat and its kind owner, Ágica sent me a surprise package some days ago - yes, you guess it right, "the" dress was in it.
