From time to time Dove comes out with a new campaign to promote positive body image which are usually really well-defined videos and ads. Some months ago I showed you the portrait-drawing ad (CLICK HERE if you missed it) and now there is another interesting piece to think about...

Időről időre a Dove előrukkol egy újabb kampánnyal, mellyel a nők szépségét s önmagunk elfogadását hirdeti. Én személy szerint kedvelem ezeket a videókat és hirdetéseket - jól sikerült daraboknak tartom. Pár hónapja a portré rajzolós kapmányukról írtam Nektek (KLIKK IDE ha lemaradtál róla) és most a cég egy újabb elgondolkodtató kisfilmmel jelentkezett...

Beauty With Plus movement - Rita Barcsai, Plus Size Model

We have been „chasing” each other for a while with Rita as since I started blogging, she has been an active member of the community. Funnily, I remember her Facebook profile as I always check new members – to get at least a picture of the ladies (or men) who recently joined – and having a good visual memory, I remember those Beauties’ profiles who actively comment and put "like" on my page. We emailed with each other earlier as she invited me to Árkád shopping mall fashion shows where finally plus size models rocked the runway too.

These days I get to thinking a lot about my plans. I do really want to create something revolutionary with my Beauties With Plus movement which is about making women see how much their inner values oversize the clothes they wear. I strongly believe the change is needed because so many females get frustrated by how the media picture them as "fat" "obese" and so on. They start to lose their confidence and rather hide in the closet - but the revolution has started already...



It felt so uplifting in the last months through emails and comments how much support this movement receives - and the international step is a must, after last week London experience at British Plus Size Fashion Weekend. I got connected with many wonderful women from different parts of the world whose values were way bigger than their clothing sizes. My concept found positive welcome so soon all pieces of the puzzle get together. I need to figure out how to convey my message the best and loudest way - whether through the blog or videos or events but definitely I want to speak up and let the world hear: WE LOVE OUR BODIES, just the way God created us!

Mostanában sokat foglalkoztat a gondolat, hogyan is nőhetné ki magát egyre nagyobbra a Pluszos Szépségek mozgalom. Abban ugyanis biztos vagyok, hogy valami forradalmian újítót, valami korszakalkotót szeretnék létrehozni és minél több nőhöz eljuttatni az üzenetem: belső értékeik jóval nagyobbak ruhaméretüknél. Múlt heti londoni élményeim a Brit Plus Size Divathétvégén csak megerősítettek abban, hogy nincsenek határok, hiszen a világ minden részéről találkoztam nőkkel, akik nemzetközi támogatásukról biztosítottak és velem együtt hisznek abban, hogy segíteni kell a nőknek, akiket a média teljesen végletekig frusztrál "kövér" "túlsúlyos" és hasonló jelzőkkel, minek következtében teljesen elveszítik önbizalmukat. Na ebből elég! Hisz a forradalom már elkezdődött...

Nem tudom még bizonyosan, melyik kommunikációs csatorna a legalkalmasabb arra, hogy minél szélesebb körbe eljuttassam üzenetemet - ám legyen az blog, videok vagy rendezvények formájában, mindenképp hallatni fogom a hangom! Igenis, hogy tudja meg a világ: MI SZERETJÜK A TESTÜNKET, pont úgy, ahogy az égiek megteremtettek minket!
