Október 5-én szombaton egy felkérésnek tettem eleget és most először nem tudósítottam egy plus size eseményről, hanem műsorvezetőként próbálhattam ki magam.

On 5th October I was happy to try myself in a new role - this time I was not reporting about a plus size event but I was the host of one.

True elegance spiced up with vivid colours - this could be my tagline for Carolyn de la Drapiere the British designer brand. When I watched those clothes on the catwalk - I saw some really belle of the balls amongst the models. I also learned that beside their existing pieces they do bespoke ones. As pictures speak louder than words, here we go:

Az élénk színek tökéletes eleganciával párosítva - így tudnám jellemezni a benyomást, amit a brit tervező Carolyn de la Drapiere ruhái keltettek bennem. Ahogy a modellek végiglejtettek a kifutón, némelyik ruha valódi bálhangulatot ébresztett és azt is megtudtam, hogy egyedi rendelésre és tervezésre is készítenek ruhákat. Mivel a képek többet mondanak minden szónál, íme:

In this post you can watch a GETS fashion show in pictures - who are a Dutch plus size brand, existing over 3 years on the market. They have established business in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland - and arrived to the show of British Plus Size Fashion Weekend. I had the chance to make a short video interview with Karin from Gets, you will see that shortly on the youtube channel, too!

Ebben a bejegyzésben a holland GETS márka bemutatójára repítelek el Titeket. A cég több mint 3 éve létezik és népszerű hazájában valamint Németországban, Ausztriában, Belgiumban, Svájcban, Dániában és Finnországban s februárban a londoni Brit Plus Size Divathétvége kifutójára is megérkezett. Volt alkalmam egy rövid videointerjút készíteni Karinnal a cég képviseletében, amit hamarosan feltöltök a youtube csatornámra is! Those who are interested in plus size fashion know the name and brand: Anna Scholz. The German designer who started her career as a plus size model has a rising success since 1996 when Lane Bryant bought her first collection. There is no stop since then as she exhibited her collections from London till Paris, in Milano and New York - and her new designs were on the catwalk of BPSFW in London, too! Have a look at the playful and light materials with vibrating pattern and colour combinations - can't you just love them?

Akik érdeklődnek a plus size divat iránt, mind ismerik a német tervezőnő, Anna Scholz nevét. Karrierjét plus size modellként kezdte, s tervezői sikerei 1996 óta töretlenek, mikor is a Lany Bryant üzletlánc megvásárolta első kollekcióját. Azóta világszerte láthattuk ruháit - London, Párizs, Milánó vagy New York kifutóin és a Brit Plus Size Divathétvégén is megcsodálhattunk a légiesen könnyed anyagokat, a vibráló szín és mintakombinációkat - hát lehet nem szeretni?

And here we go - you have been waiting for too long to take your well-deserved seat, exactly here at my Zara stud bag!

És elérkezett a várva várt idő, hogy elfoglald a Téged illető helyet itt az első sorban, a szegecses Zara táska helyén!


The show started after a day with programs like Styling Master Class and Model 101 by Anna Schillinglaw from Milk Management giving tips and advice for aspiring plus size models. 

A bemutatót olyan délutáni programok előzték meg, mint stílustanácsadás és a Milk Management vezetője, Anna Shillinglaw vezetésével tartott plus size modelltanácsadás.

The show was opened by the beautiful Jada Sezer Plus Size Model (with whom I conducted an interview, later on the blog!) wearing Simply Be sporty and casual. Lets start with Simply Be then:

Ha már print nyomatokról esik szó (amik kétségkívül a tavasz slágerei lesznek), meg kell említsem Syreeta Badu-t, a fiatal londoni tervezőt, akinek ruháin fontos szerepet kapnak az afrikai motívumok:
